Your ticket gives you unlimited gin samples (sensibly of course), a tasting glass, tonic, soda water, and a cool tote bag. Take the opportunity to chat and taste with 45 Aussie craft distillers. They will tell you how they make their gin while you taste it. Their bottles are for sale to take home.

If you can’t decide which session you want until the last thing? Then a PREMIUM ANY SESSION TICKET is just the thing for you! These can be used for SOLD OUT sessions too!

The popular Convention Centre Café will be providing hot and cold food, including gluten-free items. Tea and coffee from the Café will be available when you need a break from the G&Ts.

The event liquor license requires that the pouring of all alcohol must cease 15 minutes before the end of each session. You’ll have time to finish your samples and purchase bottles before you make your way home!

Frequently Asked Questions

Your ticket grants you entry to the tasting session specified on your ticket and includes a branded polysafe tasting cup and  non-woven tote bag for take-home purchases. All distillers will be running tastings throughout the session, which is included in your ticket price.

There is no limit to the amount of drinks you can sample however we highly suggest that you pace yourself over the 3 hour session. The distillers will pour a small sample of liquor into your tasting glass and you can either add your own Long Rays mixer or sample it neat. There will also be a spittoon at each stand should you wish to mouth sample only.

Drunken and abusive behaviour will not be tollerated and at our discretion anyone deemed to be intoxicated will be escorted from the venue.

We practice the responsible service of alcohol at our festivals.

If you have lost or are having trouble finding your ticket, go to Eventbrite and login with your email address and password. You will be able to resend your ticket/s to your email address or print them out from your account. Please contact alex@ginevents.com.au if you are still having issues.

Yes, you can give your ticket to whoever you like. There is no need to change the name on the ticket. You will not be refused entry if you are not the person named on the ticket however they will still be required to check in with the ticket.

All attendees must be 18 years or older and must have a ticket for the event.

Your ticket will include the start time and duration of your tasting session. This information is also available on Eventbrite. If you are late, you will not be allowed to stay for the following session. Please note that final samples will be served 15 minutes prior to the end of the session to give you time to finish your drinks, finalise your purchases, and make your way to the exit.

There will be a variety of food options available for purchase on the day and most dietary requirements will be catered for.

Yes you may buy bottles of liquor directly from the distillers to enjoy at home. Strictly no bottles are to be opened and consumed at the festival.

Water, tonic and soda are included in the ticket and will be available during the tasting sessions.

Group discounts are available for some of our festivals but not all sessions. Please check the festival page for ticket options for each session.

We offer 2 and 4 ticket bundles at a discount on most of our festivals but not all. If you have a group of 10 or more please contact hello@ginevents.com.au and we will gladly arrange a discounted promo code for your group.

Card is preferred for purchases at the event, and some of our events are completely cashless. All distillers and food vendors will accept EFTPOS payments.

Yes, our events are wheelchair accessible. Events taking place in multi-level buildings will have lifts available if needed.

Given that this is a licensed event, we highly recommend utilising public transport to get to the venue and to get home. Some venues will have parking available. Please check the websites of our venue partners for further details, availability and cost.

Refunds are only issued if you request a refund 30 days prior to the event or if the event is cancelled. Refunds are not available if your bank finds your credit card out of date or cancelled. If you can no longer attend, you may give or sell your ticket to another person. Tickets are fully transferable for the same session on the scheduled day. If you are eligible go to your Eventbrite accounts dashboard to request your refund. Some people change their mind and cancel their refund request so all refund requests are actioned approximately four weeks prior to the festival date.

Absolutely! While our festivals are spirits-focused, non-drinkers are welcome to join for the vibrant atmosphere and delicious food options. Please note that the ticket price is the same for all attendees.
