The Australian Gin Distillers Association Inc. (AGDA) was founded in NSW in 2018. It is a wholly Australian-owned entity. The AGDA owns and manages the Australian Gin Awards whereby Australian and New Zealand craft distillers submit their gins for professional judging. Successful gins can win certificates, medals and trophies. The AGDA is proud of its role as it sets high production standards in the gin industry.

In addition the AGDA plans, promotes and produces a series of Gin Festivals under the Gin Events banner. The festivals are aimed at educating members of the public about gin and how to consume it responsibly. The festivals are a wonderful opportunity for many distillers to grow their brand and hear comments from the patrons while making sales.
